What a nice feeling

As a resident of Hampstead, I often browse the window displays of its local bookshops. How nice, then, to see copies of Istros Books publication, ‘Hansen’s Children‘ all set out in cascading rows. How did Istros manage this feat? Well, we are having a book launch there next Tuesday, May 15th, where the author himself (fresh from Montenegro) will be in conversation with A. M Bakalar and Noemi Szecsi from Stork Press. Noemi and Ognjen Spahic are here in the UK to attend European Literature Night at the British Library next Wednesday. The event looks likely to be an interesting one, with Noemi’s book dealing with Finno-Ugarian vampires and Ognjen’s with the last leper hospital in Europe….curious?? come along on Tuesday at 19:00, have a glass of wine and find out more…
